Quickfire Skills
Quickfire skills was a project that required us to practice fast, and accurate art department skills. We had to create a technical drawing, a white model, and a visual each within a week.
We were asked to measure, draft, and model the Arboretum Lodge, a small Victorian building next to campus.
Unfortunately during this project I had covid for a full two weeks, and was severely impacted in my ability to work. Luckily I was able to survey the Arboretum Lodge and obtain all of the necessary measurements before I was too sick. However I wasn’t able to properly make my technical drawing on a drafting board, and my visual and model were impacted as well.
Overall I’m satisfied with how this project turned out despite my setbacks, and it was a nice opportunity to practice my model making and technical drawing.
