Christmas Box Project
This was a group project with the goal to create a Nutcracker themed box to be put on display at Newstead Abbey. As a group, we were to come up with a common theme/story for our boxes. They were to take inspiration from The Nutcracker story, the Newstead Abbey site, Victorian Christmas traditions, and/or other personal research. The box dimensions had to be kept within 30x30x30 cm, and have one open side to view your scene.
I am incredibly proud of the box I produced, and my overall time management for this project. I was on a short trip near the beginning, and I adapted by making many of my designs digital prints so I could work on them while I was gone.

A few aspects of my design such as the addition of Clara sleeping on the couch and laser cut frames for the windows were omitted due to time restraints and lack of knowledge.
I think that I could have communicated better with the team to ensure that there was more commonalities between my design and the others, but I am overall happy with my piece, the project, and collaborating with our group.
